Pamoja is a Swahili word which means together. It is used to express solidarity and communal strength. Symbolizes an initiative focused on uplifting communities through collaboration and equity.
To build an inclusive and equitable Canada where every individual has the opportunity to thrive, contribute, and lead, regardless of race, income, gender, age, ability, or immigration status
Pamoja Elevate Initiative endeavors to dismantle systemic barriers and uplift marginalized, underserved, and socially excluded communities across Canada. Through capacity-building, education, sport, housing, and community-led programming, we foster sustainable development, civic engagement, and social justice especially for women, girls, youth, seniors, and other vulnerable groups.
